V is for The Virtuous Strength of Women

March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor women’s virtuous strengths, achievements, and contributions, past and present. We celebrate the leadership of courageous and innovative women and the challenges and victories of women in society, business, and government.
Virtuous Acts of Empowerment
What makes Women’s Month special is the opportunity to hear about the extraordinary work accomplished in empowerment and advocacy worldwide. Social movements, non-profits, and mentorship institutes are making a significant impact, empowering women and paving a better path for those who follow. Initiatives such as #WomenInTech and #SheLeads have already brought about tangible change in corporate culture and society, inspiring us all.
How to Help Empower and Respect Women This Month
- Support Equal Opportunities — In the workplace or the community, promote gender equality policies and practices. Support policies that promote work-life balance, such as parental leave and flexible work arrangements
- Amplify Women’s Voices — Employ women creators, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders’ work and stories to empower them.
- Support Women-Owned Businesses — Buy from and promote women-owned businesses and help women entrepreneurs thrive.
- Promote Education — Support programs that provide women access to education, financial literacy, and career advancement opportunities. Workshops, mentorship programs, and scholarships can help make a difference.
While we celebrate the virtuous strength of women this month, we must remember that many challenges will always lie ahead. So, please help support these women who continue to bring us a better world and provide opportunities that will help all of us thrive and flourish in the future.
