Attention Women – You Need to Take Control of Your Money

Ann Explains Why in this Video

“Your Success is Our Success”- Ann Zuraw.

Zuraw financial advisors is a firm that I started in 2005 and moved to Schwab last year 2014 and it’s really important when we work with clients that we have a long-term relationship. I come from a family that has talked about money all the time. When I was in fifth grade we were allowed to everybody got to pick a stock so I’ve been investing my whole life and I have three brothers and we all talk about investing and stocks and that’s just the way we communicate so it’s very natural for me and it’s one of my goals is to really encourage people to talk to their parents, talk to their kids, talk to their siblings and not have money be a bad subject. Money is something that needs to be talked about in a good way.

When I first start, I didn’t have any clients in 2005 and used social media as a way to get started and did a blog “Women Money and Divorce.com” and so I do have clients that have gone through a divorce and I call it “financial planning after divorce and that life goes on in a good way.”

So really my ideal clients is someone that has multiple generations – there is the grandmother, there’s the mother that’s probably my age and spouse and then there are the children that are in their twenty’s and really educating everyone at the different levels and communicating up and down. It’s really important that when we work with clients that we have a long-term relationship, we do both investment management and financial planning. We are looking out for the long-term for clients and go through their various goals and objectives but also make sure they really understand the risk vs. the returns of investing.

I love working with clients, but to do the social media is just a great outlet for me and it enables me to have a much broader reach and I keep working on it to get better and better that’s my goal
